Within StoreAutomator, Force Stock Status setting specifies the minimum level of item quantity that will be sent to the channel irrespective if it is lesser of the item in stock.

This feature allows you to automate inventory level and prevent running out of stock for products across different sales channels.

For example:

There is a Product X in StoreAutomator, that has ten pcs in stock. By default, StoreAutomator sends ten pcs to the listing for each channel and SKU. If you set Force Stock Status as 15 pcs, StoreAutomator will send 15 pcs to the listing until the actual available quantity of the item is greater than 15 pcs. If the on-hand stock is greater than 15 pcs, StoreAutomator will send the actual number of the items in stock to the listing.

StoreAutomator can implement this feature to SKU basis and override Force Stock Status on a channel basis.

Main benefit:

● You can hide how much stock you truly have from your competitors.

● StoreAutomator allows you to prevent running out of stock for listings.
